From a shipping container at Munich’s Siegestor during the Zamanand Festival, 1–2 June 2024, festival visitors imagined Ludwigstrasse without cars: 913 logged generation sessions produced 3,211 car-free visions in two days. 608 sessions typed free-text prompts in German and English — from a climbing park to a transparent hyperloop — while the most popular presets were water features, urban meeting places, floral streets and green pathways.
Who took part
Festival visitors at large, walk-up and unstaffed-friendly — mass low-threshold participation rather than a recruited group.
What the tool did
Seven geolocated starting photos along Ludwigstrasse, four co-designed scenario categories with presets, and an open free-text channel that ended up dominating — evidence that passers-by will go beyond the menu when allowed.
Delivered together with project partners.
