For UN-Habitat’s World Urban Forum 13 in Baku, 17–22 May 2026 — around 2,000 participants from more than 130 countries under the theme of safe and resilient housing — A demonstration kiosk was prepared with GIZ Connective Cities: scannable QR codes opening guest-mode project workspaces for seven real partner locations, including Huye in Rwanda, Nairobi’s Mji wa Huruma, Mariental in Namibia, Hebron, Berlin and Sharqia in Egypt.

Guest-access workspaces per partner city, letting forum visitors step directly into a live co-design environment from a QR code.
