For the official Oulun keskustavisio 2026–2040, ten named city-centre sites — from Hallituskatu to the Hollihaka boat harbour — were photographed at high resolution and given dedicated bilingual prompt libraries built directly from the vision’s four theme drafts: traffic and parking, infill development, urban green and blue, and lighting. 670 precomputed scenario images translated the vision’s concepts — a Hallituskatu boulevard, a pedestrian centre, covered courtyards — into site-specific material for the autumn 2025 resident workshops, with playful “Lego prompts” keeping the register open.
Who took part
Oulu residents, following a resident survey in February 2025 and a Lego city-building event in May 2025 within the vision’s engagement programme.
What the tool did
A precompute pipeline turning an official vision’s theme drafts into curated, site-specific scenario sets at scale — ten sites, two languages, 670 images.
