Closing Baltan Laboratories’ three-part “AI in the Hood” series in November 2023, residents of Eindhoven’s Rochusbuurt gathered at the Buurthuis de Buut community centre to examine and reimagine the Sint Rochushofje green area — the first session to combine Humankind’s Good Public Space Analysis with AI-driven generative co-design in one method.

Neighbourhood residents, with a facilitation team including Pedro Gil Farias, Marta Nosowicz, Hugo Pilate, Leif Czakai and artist Margriet Craens.
What the tool did
A structured public-space analysis of the fixed focus site followed by AI-supported reimagining — publicly announced as the launch of the collaboration between the two organisations.
